Hiram Houghton

Hiram "Hi" Houghton is a proud Iowa resident who graduated from Buena Vista University with a degree in Banking and Finance. His career began at Wells Fargo, where he developed his expertise in the financial sector. 

Recognizing the transformative power of technology early on, Hiram transitioned into the tech industry. For 15 years, he worked in a sales role, partnering with various businesses and government agencies to integrate technology solutions into their operations, enhancing efficiencies and consistency.

In 2012, Hiram founded LaunchIT Corp. in Des Moines, Iowa, when he acquired the services sector of Salem Associates, an established Software Solutions Company. Since then, he has grown the company’s footprint , serving successful local businesses in Iowa as well as organizations around the World.

 Under his leadership, LaunchIT has expanded its operations, adding offices in Chennai, India; Plano, Texas; and Toronto, Canada. Hiram's vision and leadership continue to drive LaunchIT's success, making significant contributions to the technology industry and the Iowa Business Community.

Hiram’s ability to balance his professional and personal life demonstrates his commitment to both areas. Hiram's dedication to his community is evident through his involvement with the Blank Park Zoo Board and outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, traveling, reading, and catching up with friends and family.
